I will be honest, when I found out that I'll be having this subject as one of my compulsory course, I was just confused as to why will I be learning this. Everyone knows how to read, right? Even kids who just started kindergarten can read, so what is the purpose of me studying this?

Well, well, I have learned a lot from this subject. Reading isn't just moving your eyes following the words but more to understanding what the author of the text is trying to convey. Reading will also help you to improve anything you want to learn and not just to improve your language.

After learning from this course with one of the best lecturer one could have, my learning abilities have been improved tremendously. I understand the materials of anything I would like to learn better and overall I've been thinking more than I used to, rather than just read to finish my work.
