learning
from home;
Unlike the other years, the batch of 2020/2021 of UITM foundation had to go through Online Distance Learning (ODL). We really can't complain or say anything about it, as we are all affected by the global pandemic. Nevertheless, life must go on and education comes first.
As much as I love being a homebody, studying at home is not for me. Even during my SPM days, I went to the library every single day. There's something about the ambience, like when you think of home, the first word you would think of is comfortable. Sure, I tried to discipline myself by giving a set timetable and not studying on the bed but it is still hard. Of course, then you have house chores and when you start becoming a university student, your work will be so much more than your high school work. Your time off from online class is your work and study time and also your chores time. (But no mum, I am not complaining but the house chores huhu I swear).
Putting the negative aside, the Internet at my house is so much faster than college. I get to surf videos (educational videos okay! not Netflix) without any interruptions and it is just a relief for me. Other than that, I get to eat my mum's cooking. So yep, being at home isn't so bad after all, or is it?

from palam and dengkil;
A little backstory, I used to be in a boarding school for about a month when I was 13, but I didn't stay because of personal reasons (mainly homesick and couldn't adjust to the new surrounding).
I was always excited to go to college, I longed for the moment I leave my house to further my studies. See, my family all thought that I will be the crybaby I was when I was 13 years old and that I would want to go home after days being in college. But guess what? Life was amazing for me when I was in Puncak Alam. For someone who loves her own company, it was amazing cause I did everything all on my own as I don't have to depend on anyone. Hungry? Okay, I'll just go to the cafe. Need to study? Okay, I'll just go to the library. Literally was on cloud nine. But of course, if I needed my friends or they needed me, I will free my time for them.
The library in both colleges was my second home. I went there to study almost all the time, and during the exam week, I was there every single day. I love going to the library, literally my favourite place in the world. The smell of books, everyone doing their work, the vibe there, are just some of the things that make me happy being at the library.
